Toni’s Guitar Guidelines
I want to thank all of my students and their parents for allowing me to do what I love…teaching great kids how to play guitar!
Here are a few guidelines about my guitar studio that may be helpful:
- I teach children starting at age eight through high school
- My studio is located in my home in Fuquay-Varina, NC, 15 miles southwest of Raleigh, NC
- I instruct students from the neighboring towns of Holly Springs, Apex, Garner, Cleveland, Angier, Lillington, Cary, Raleigh, and of course Fuquay-Varina
- Hours of instruction are held in the afternoons and evenings Monday through Friday
- Lessons are 30 minutes long once a week
- Due to the convenience of my home studio, I can schedule flexible teaching time to satisfy athletes, year-round students, etc.
- Monthly tuition is $75.00 per month plus book fees. I will supply the books.
- Tuition is due on the 1st lesson of each month, not to exceed the 15th of the month. If you are away by the 15th of the month, please mail tuition to me
- You are responsible for payment if a lesson is missed. That time slot is being held for you
- Please call 24 hours in advance if your child cannot make the lesson. I try to schedule as many make-up lessons as I can, but I cannot guarantee all missed lessons will be made up.
- Make-up lessons are given 2 Saturdays a month or through the week to fill slots when other students have to cancel.
- I do not charge for the 5th week of the month. This lesson may be used as a make-up or I may take it off. I will let you know in advance.
- I will not charge you for lessons I cancel unless I make them up or there are 5 weeks in the month.
- If possible, please give me a 1-month notice prior to ending lessons so I have time to fill your slot.
- I do not follow any school schedule. If I miss, I will give you a written notice.
- I teach all year-round and will do my best to make up vacation and sick time.
- Minimum practice time for ages 8-10 is 20 minutes per day, 4 days per week.
- Minimum practice time for ages 11 through teens is 30 minutes per day, 4 days per week.
